This is a screen capture of an Instagram post from Other 98, reposting text from Jeremy Kalin. The text reads, "Something really important happened overnight. It's stunning really. The State of Minnesota had to file a lawsuit last night against the federal government to have a judge declare that the federal government cannot destroy evidence in the killing of Alex Pretti. An independent federal judge declared in favor of the State of Minnesota within two hours. Please get your heads wrapped around this fact: the State of Minnesota had to sue the Feds to prevent them from destroying evidence related to a killing at the hands of a federal officer. And a judge took only two hours to decide the matter - that the Feds are in such serious threat of covering up and destroying evidence that this first ever action was so easily decided."

For those of us who have been paying attention, it comes as no surprise that fresh water is becoming more scarce under our current Climate Crisis. United Nations scientists have declared that we are now in "Water Bankruptcy", here: phys.org/news/2026-01... scx2.b-cdn.net/gfx/news/202...

The following, additional description was written, for clarity, by Citruchel LLC staff:

It consists of an orthographic square map, arranged as a diamond in the centre that depicts a cityscape next to a river and prairies. On the left side of this graphic, there are 4 green text boxes under a "Supply/Income" title. To the right, there are 4 red text boxes under a "Use/Expenditure" title. In a central, black box, titled "Water Bankruptcy", that reads, "Insolvency = Water Income < Water Expenditures" and "Irreversibility = Irreparable Natural Capital Damages". There are 3 "Supply" lines, 2 of which are connected to "Surface Water Systems", with the third line going to "Soil Moisture". There are 2 "Savings Account" lines: "Aquifiers" and "Glaciers". On the red side, each text box has 1 "Water Expenses" line. The red boxes read: "Municipal & Social", "Agriculture & Food", "Industrial & Economic" and "Energy".

The point of all of this appears to be communicating key inputs and outputs of our water systems, not to indicate percentages or amounts discussed in the article.

On the question of "can AI save us from billionaires?" we offer this tidbit, found on Instagram, via Matthew Cooke:

It was posted by Harpers Magazine on 14, December, then reposted by Matthew Cooke.

Citruchel LLC has shared it because we believe in the idea that no good can come from computer intelligence born from billionaire interests, especially at the cost of our environment.
