For almost 2 years Adam Schiff has been making these explainer videos describing Trump's massive crime and corruption spree. Informing the public is a cool thing to do, but shouldn't somebody try to *stop* the murder and the theft and the destruction and the unconstitutional power grabs?

Not just impeachable. Impeachment, both pres. and agency heads, is the only option. It's impeachment or nothing. Courts won't stop it. Other tools are impotent. Put them on trial the only way you can. Even if you can't get 2/3, use process as punishment. Make it miserable and costly. It can be done.

When you say "Republicans will never vote to impeach!!!" you take all the pressure off them. You're giving them a huge gift. It's exact what they need from you. It amounts to permission to continue to be horrible people supporting a horrible tyrant. Expect and demand more from them.

The House can do as much or as little process as is politically useful in any given case. But if you have the Senate majority and so can control the trial, it's better to go drag it out there where it's a much bigger spotlight.

At any point in the last 18 months @mikelevin.org could have filed Articles of Impeachment against Trump for his obnoxious corruption, and forced a vote in the House of Representatives showing his Republican colleagues are Pro-Crime and Pro-Corruption. He never did anything of the sort.

This is such a typical attitude in congress. They love finding other people to offload their responsibilities onto, especially the courts. @durbin.senate.gov most of all because he's even more checked out and cowardly than the rest of them because he wants to coast into retirement.

We should remember that "impeach" is not black and white. It's all kinds of shades of grey. One half-hearted going thru the motions to appease the base after months of stalling is quite likely. A serious effort to get Trump removed will take a long time & tons of hard work. That seems very unlikely.
