you’re telling me a queer coded this?

CiscoDisco @ciscodisco.bsky.social · 28/08/2025

i also did my first session as a DM with my very close friends, i highly recommend you do this if you can, it’s so much easier when you know your players already and have that mutual trust, you dont have to worry about “impressing” them if you get what i mean

CiscoDisco @ciscodisco.bsky.social · 28/08/2025

i have maybe 10 sessions to my name as a DM but some important things i’ve learned is that theres nothing wrong with doing a one shot first with a premade module, it really takes a lot of the burden off your shoulders with creating the world. and simple is ok too! its fine if its just one town, etc

after visiting three different stores, getting cards from my friends, and buying a few from fan expo, i finally completed my first commander deck! and its only $60 cad! not too shabby if i say so myself

maturing is realizing wikipedia is an extremely rare gem and a benefit to humanity and that all my high school teachers were wrong, its literally free knowledge and everything is cited the current headlines are confirming that we do in fact live in a cyberpunk dystopia, so concerned right now…

Lots of #percyjackson news from #sdcc yesterday, including the casting of these fantastic actors: Levi Chrisopulos as Nico di Angelo and Olive Abercrombie as Bianca di Angelo. Can't wait to see them bring these characters to life in season three with absolutely no heartbreak or tragedy whatsoever!

Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie together, ready to play the di Angelos.

also didnt expect the amount of social commentary in the superman movie, not complaining i think its great, extremely relevant movie in today's world

020

CiscoDisco @ciscodisco.bsky.social · 13/07/2025

what i love about gunn's films is that the men are allowed to cry, they show emotion and vulnerability but it doesn't stop them from being strong, both the heroes AND villains also superman was great

not me memorizing the korean parts of the songs in kpop demon hunters without knowing any korean whatsoever

000

CiscoDisco @ciscodisco.bsky.social · 02/07/2025

of course, this is all just my interpretation and there could be no deeper meaning, but i still find it cool also as a fun fact, you can hear the melody of "Golden" in the score and in the final song as well, "What It Sounds Like"

000

CiscoDisco @ciscodisco.bsky.social · 02/07/2025

Now what makes Rumi golden? By the end of the film, she comes to accept her demon heritage. The "Golden" music video foreshadows this when the light shines on half of her face, representing how she is half demon.
