now that eu4 is on its way out, I finally started learning it, it's not that complex actually. coming from a vic 2 background, a lot of the mechanics, especially war related, feel like vic 2 but modernised and with like actual qol.

I will say tho, the aesthetic is mint and the pixel art is so cool, like not to be a hipster about it but its so amazing how a 30 year old game still looks decent and on-par with modern standards (compared to old 3d models anyways)

getting shot from behind? prepare to slowly rotate your view 180 degrees like you're trying to aim a artillery piece. then if you miss the guy you gotta wiggle your gun back and forth while getting shot by 5 other people

look i love keyboard only kinda games, caves of qud, cdda, and cogmind are some of my most loved games (though i'm still ass at cogmind :P) but shooters are just Not The Genre to have kb only
