Honestly at this point I'm not even of the mind that it's a "bubble" anymore. I was talking with a friend and said "remember when your grandparents would talk about their walk to school as a kid? Uphill in a blizzard, etc? That's gonna be me with AI when I'm 60." It won't pop. It's forever now.

Nah, I love Esmeray! Especially her voice. Just because she's from the country doesn't mean she can't work in tech. She's meant to be a silly little small town girl with a genius IQ for tech and I love that!

I remember playing this with my cousin and we both just stopped and looked at each other with these big, goofy grins when we saw the koopas stop and dance 😂 Man, good times.

It's so funny you say that 😂 Unfortunately she's not really a major character like I hoped 😔 but she is super pretty.

Their characterization. The "r" tier is just recruited but not really experienced. My unit list would look quite a bit different 😅

Finished Cai's route. It was absolutely wonderful. Funny enough, it kinda feels like a complete story. The others feel like they're leading into the rest of the game, but Cai's felt like a full narrative for the most part. Anyway, updated tier list following the conclusion! Onto Theodora!

I will say, something that kinda drives me crazy about FW is that some classes don't have direct upgrade paths. Like, why is there not an advanced pegasus class? It's annoying because there's only one flying class upgrade but it uses different skills and mounts. 😑

Should be able to finish Cai's route today, then start on my final route of FW, Theodora 🙂‍↕️ Hopefully I finish this game before the heat death of the universe because dear lord it is LONG. Though I believe it's pretty linear after you do each lords route. At least, that's the hope 😅

*Thankfully* the item I wanted is in the area that opened up. But it's so weird to me that so much of his route is locked to like one half of the map, while the other two routes I've done gave you the full area. 😑

Kiryu and getting scammed go hand in hand. Just like Kiryu and Karaoke And Kiryu and getting in fights And Kiryu and getting pulled back into Yakuza disputes And Kiryu and getting pulled into running random businesses

That's so strange. Especially since the other routes I've done end up with full access. And since there are spots to get mounts over in those areas. Ugh

FW question for anyone who completed Cai's path... Does it ever let you actually go to other places on the map? It's so weird to me that he is basically restricted to only the area around Dagsion.

Oh boy... This is absolutely some Cirkus and Millium shenanigand. I can just imagine the two of them spontaneously deciding that it's time for a game of tag while poor Claire is caught in the middle. Cirkus may be a couple years older than Claire, but sometimes he acts like he's half her age 😅

There's a certain level of like... If a series changes I can see still playing it just in case things change back if that makes sense. Or if you're mixed on entries. For example, I know some people who love P3 and 5 but not 4. But if you are playing and actively not into it then like???

It's so weird to me that each character has different numbers of "main" party members? Leda has 5, Dietrich has 4, and Cai only has 3. It's so bizarre. I think Theodora only has 3 as well based on previous routes.

That's kinda the vibe I was getting from watching. I watched a few of their archived streams and the more I watched the more I got the feeling they don't like modern FE. But like... If you know you don't like it, I don't understand continuing to play it. Just strange to me.

But I feel you on Pokemon. I did very much enjoy Z-A, but PLA wasn't for me. I didn't really know that ahead of time so I did buy it, but I never finished it because I just found myself not having fun with it anymore after a while. I probably pushed longer than I should have, too.

Nah. This was a streamer I watch who is a classic FE person and is basically like "I don't like walking around the map, talking to characters, giving gifts, the dungeons, etc. so I'm just not doing anything that isn't required by the story" Which just feels weird to me. Especially as a streamer.

...I suppose that's fair, but at that point, do you really even enjoy the game? Not to say you HAVE to engage with the other content, but I wouldn't, for example, boot up P5 and skip all of the daily life stuff when SMT exists. I'm sure there's a FE analog that's just linear battles.
