Sorry, only just saw this. The interference occurs based on the chain multiplier achieved. Higher chains = higher bonus points but also the level of the octopus annoyance increases more with higher chains. I tried to balance the risk/reward, I think it works!

C64 is a timeless machine. Here's a classic technique called HARD SYNC. It works by using one of the voices as a carrier that drives the main voice, syncing the oscillators to give that bright, harsh sweep. Main theme played on C64 is pure SID chip and isn't edited in any way #chiptune #cyberpunk 🤘👾

Game works fine as a standalone build on Linux Mint but I just cannot get it working on Steamdeck as a native build. I give up! It works fine using the Proton layer with the Windows build. That will have to do - my time and sanity are more important!
