I'm pretty excited to work on my new SAR story for Halloween, and I hugely hope I can get it done by then Too many times have I gotten new ideas I thought would be cool and ended up passing my original deadline to add them...

I think enough time had passed over the addition of SAR’s 6-7 emote to ask: How am I gonna count if you took those two numbers to wave them around in a funny way while saying “swix swaba?” I kinda need those numbers.

- Steam Machine preorders out - Gen AI and RAM getting bought out being the reason they’re so expensive - Question why gen AI exists if we can interact with real people outside/online to learn certain skills - Cycle continues with newer PCs Hopefully we can break that cycle, because AI sucks.

I don't think I ever mentioned here, but Chapter 2 of One Long Life is readable now! However, an edited screenshot taken from my collab with Kasichi is still used as a placeholder. It'll be replaced by a special art piece once it's finished (after SAR Art Contest!) docs.google.com/document/d/e...

Sometimes I think about what it would be like for Pixile to release books about Super Animal World to expand the lore between SAR Tonight seasons. There are a surprising amount of things you can convey with words alone, and it's relatively cost-effective from the looks of it! Food for thought!

Curious thought, but has anyone ever decided to buy or make a cake for yourself for the sole reason that you felt like it? Doesn't even have to be a birthday or special occasion.

imo Highguard's imminent shutdown sucks and I had hoped to see it thrive later in its life; I'm even sadder about the devs who worked hard on it and now are out of a job. For as long as the game was around, I really enjoyed it. Sure it needed some work, but that kind of downfall was just undeserved.

I liked Carpenter Brut’s music for a while now, but coming back and seeing the use of AI in his newest music videos makes me feel a level of ick I’ve never felt before. I especially wanted to like The Misfits/The Rebels; great music, but AI cheapened the experience and I hope he listens to his fans.

In all honesty, I never liked the phrase "Stranger Danger", especially when I'm told that as an adult. It's a good rule of thumb as a kid, but once you're in your mid-late 20s or even older, it starts to not feel that way anymore. All friends start as strangers at first; then you get to know them.

Sometimes keyboards do the most random things; you do normal keyboard stuff and accidentally hit the "minor inconvenience" shortcut that makes you explode. Technology is amazing!

Sometimes I look at commercials in restaurants and think how much we take them and their creativity for granted. We gloss over or skip them entirely, but in the age of AI where nothing feels real, I start to appreciate them for how much they try to do in a 15-30 second window. Coca-Cola be damned.

It feels so surreal being in a community such as SAR's for as long as I have. I met a lot of friends who taught me so much, and it's mostly thanks to them and my family I'm where I am today. I'm still working on breaking out of my shell, but it's never felt easier. Thanks and happy AnniverSARy!
