I've never been so distracted at how much higher quality a movie is than it really should be. But Darren Lynn Bousman never disappoints over there being some unique weird ass shit or twist in the otherwise dry sounding plot.

Did you like Backrooms? Did you wish it was more fun and had a more coherent story and less A24 pretention? @factionman's Hostile Dimensions is a more relaxed alternative imho.

Review on Letterboxd for Hostile Dimensions (2023) saying, "The Backrooms is a beautiful art installation. But Hostile Dimensions is a better movie."
