Oh enjoy, I just saw it where I live on screen a few weeks ago. Best thing, two women next to me had never seen it- My joy came from watching them freak out at this 40+ year old film that had been in my top 3 of all time since 82.

and a year later we got Zapped which is yeah, basically a teen version of this with less cocaine and racist sterotypes and more boobs. Basically, both are horrible.....

This makes it look so much more horrifying and exciting then it actually was.

There is nothing I'd like to watch here- so I'll read a book tonight.

This is one of my favorites- really- since the day I saw it in the cinema I was trying to get people to love it much as I do...

It's bad-- back in the day there was a perhaps 2 stories tall poster for this on my drive to work through San Francisco and even after the film proved a dud, the huge poster endured for what felt like forever

11:55, almost midnight. Enough time for one more story. One more story before 12:00, just to keep us warm. In five minutes, it will be the 21st of April.

Remember seeing this in NYC with a packed audience- back in the day when people went to mid-budget comedies in droves. Very good memory.

Don't know why but I loved this place as a kid. The food was never top notch, I guess it was the novelty of it all.

A film whose existence escaped me totally.

As a child the question was always this or Beast from 20K Fathoms. While I loved both- I eventually chose 20 Million Miles to earth.

I'm not sure but if she did- She'd be correct ( however in the end, it did work)

THE CURSE OF THE CAT PEOPLE (1944) Dirs. G. von Fritsch & R. Wise This tangential sequel to CAT PEOPLE weaves a new tale, less horror than fantasy. Through the story of a sensitive child, it creates a dark world of heightened imagery, A worthy follow-up that deserves to be judged on its own.

Again, late to the game but I believe this is Horror Hotel.

You mean the original Final Destination. This one is a lot of fun and this death is one that once horrified me, that I now can't ever not cackle over.

The voice work for Cage is at once inspired and irritating still not sure how he managed to balance the line

Not good at all- I had the discomfort of seeing this in the cinema when released- TWICE. My mom could not come get us until later so we had to sit through it twice. Um, worst year of my life that day.

Actually works out well- The spider eats the ant, the frog eats the spider, The rat eats the frog and the worms ....Hmmm, they eat the desiccated corpse of the rat who died from eating the frog ?

I'd say watch The Dead Zone and wave bye bye to Dead North ( and if you have time, watch Deadly Mantis)

Excellent, bleak film that has as much to say about today as it did back then. Are we all just horses in a race ( only now with 100% more internet distraction)

This was the first Mummy film that actually gave me chills. The earlier versions were not as frightening to me.

Actually have a good story for this film. Saw in local cinema in San Francisco and halfway through the film, part of the roof broke and gallons of water from a rain storm we were having poured in. They did not stop the film- the people near by got up and moved and we continued. It later closed.

It! The Terror from Beyond Space (1958) Dir. E. L. Cahn. Fun '50s sci-fi- a spaceship crew is stalked by an alien through the air ducts, picked off one by one. Without this film paving the way for Bava's sumptuous Planet of the Vampires, would we then have the Scott/O'Bannon Alien '79? I think not!

He says this film felt like a studio obligation and it kind of shows. It's interesting, that even a disinterested Carpenter can still turn out some great scenes-

Late to the game here but if it's 2010's- not the same look as Igor so I suspect it's ParaNorman ??? I guess it could be Monster House as well but these characters were not in that film.
