Additionally, I went to two Club TCM events (including the Carol Burnett conversation!), and I sat in the bleachers for the opening night red carpet. Overall, another glorious time at my favorite film festival!

I also caught the intros for three other screenings: GREASE 2, DANGEROUS LIAISONS, and THE TOWERING INFERNO (though I did stay for about the first hour of the latter two films, both of which I’ve seen before anyway).

Finally watched THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY for the first time, and I’m glad I ended up waiting until now to see it on the big screen (and in 35mm!). I honestly didn’t know a whole lot going into it, so I really didn’t expect it to wreck me as much as it did, but I loved it.
