1. The central claim in the indictment of SPLC is a lie. The DOJ/FBI accuse SPLC of lying to donors about seeking to “dismantle” extremist groups while secretly funding them. But the funds were used to infiltrate & help law enforcement dismantle these groups. Kash Patel knows this is the truth…

Listening to Republicans debate SB 116, one thing is obvious, they only care about the murder of , sexual assault of, or other violence against women when a non cis, non-white man commits it. Because they definitely don't have this energy when a white woman is killed by a white man.

I need the Democratic Party of GA to know there's no situation in hell where I show up on Election Day and vote for Geoff Duncan. I don't care about his apology tour. He's complicit in the deaths of women across this state who couldn't get access to healthcare because of him and the "Heartbeat bill"

Yesterday, Trump and his administration raided Fulton County's election office. Today @schumer.senate.gov and Senate Dems handed him this win. It doesn't matter people have died and our elections are threatened. Schumer is going to cave.

Governor Walz is giving Senate Dems a briefing to update them on the murder of Alex Pretti and the situation in Minneapolis and surrounding areas tomorrow. There are already Senate Dems saying they won't vote to fund DHS appropriations after today's shooting.

There's a difference between "homelessness" and "unsheltered homelessness" And an RV going from park to park is or definitely can be defined as homeless. And the language they are using is dehumanizing. I'm grossed out.

Someone told Trump meeting with Democratic leadership was a win for Dems, so he canceled it. Republicans are going to let the government shutdown because they don't want to work with duly elected Democrats. This is not a representative democracy.

I hope the State Election Board understands the obvious underhanded coordination between the Executive Director, Vice Chair Johnston, and Member King does nothing to promote confidence in SEB. The pettiness during the Blue Ribbon study committee and today's hearing is infantile. #gapol

Clarification **five** changes to the agenda. @saratindallghazal.bsky.social pointing out that this violates the spirit of the open records act if not the letter. Chair says discussion will be allowed, but taking action would be inappropriate.

APS will hold virtual meetings on Sept. 24 at 6 p.m.; Sept. 25 at noon;  and Oct. 20 at noon. An in-person meeting is also set for Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. at APS headquarters in Downtown. Three people (at least 2 students) have died after a school shooting. Charlie Kirk is reportedly in critical condition after being shot. Admitting it's the damn guns should not be a partisan issue.

The guns are the problem. Whether it’s high school students or Charlie Kirk or anyone else getting shot, this country has to crack down on guns and pass actual gun control laws to protect everyone’s safety.

81% of Americans believe that violent crime is up...but that is not what the data actually shows. So, maybe instead of passing federal laws to "address crime," you tell the public the truth? Just thinking out loud...

Unimpressed with Republicans or Democrats that want to "keep children safe" by restricting access to social media (don't give your kids a smart phone or give them boundaries. We don't need laws for that) but don't want to provide funding for mental health programs in public school or gun safety laws

You could just put statewide races in the hat, but the fact the SOS decides which race will be audited limits some of the randomness of the RLA. Even though the batches are then chosen randomly, the beginning of the process is flawed
