New school update! Havent made anything super interesting so far this semester but i did just finish this. Was very fun and im beggining to understand what texturing related words mean LOL I think i shouldve marked up the perimeter some more, particularly the top because it looks abit flat.

Maybe i just dont have enough fighting game exp, but 2xko feels like there is no point in learning combos other than the longest one you can find, because the game is so fast that if anyone confirms a hit, you can kiss half your hp bar goodbye. You make at most 3 mistakes and its the next round

Modeling 1 finished. Now we wait for marks. Im happiest with the hat and the mirror was probably the best learning piece. Idk what it was about a sphere with 2 donuts and some feet that made me want to nuke my computer but the cauldron turned out alright in the end. I think...LOL

Cinderman @cinderman.bsky.social · 04/04/2025

Netflix new devil may cry series was fucking awful. I loved it. But good god that was bad. I have a great many thoughts on it. To much to type out but i do hope we get more.

The coolest part of starting videogame design courses is all the cool stuff that i love about them is now being relived with new perspective. Like i always thought animation was cool but i just saw a clip of a genshin character running and its WAY cooler because now i have an idea how it was done!

Fighting for my life in texturing class. I mean im doing alright markswise but i always feel so lost. What are normals? Speculars and diffuse maps? All i know is unwrap and even that is foggy.

Havent posted on here in awhile. Post your favorite #magicthegathering card! Any format for any reason! Obeka here is my fave because the art is fantastic and her ability is the perfect blend of power and "wait she does what?" I love seeing the faces of new players when they see obeka!

Cinderman @cinderman.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

I am off to such a garbage start this semester. Im happy i got the SUV i was after but its had me so distracted and im not getting the time in on my assignments. Just missed my texturing deadline by 15 minutes and i have animation due tomorrow. Ugh.

Cinderman @cinderman.bsky.social · 18/01/2025

Another digital drawing landscape done. I wish i could say it felt good because its something i really wanna get better at. But i just always hit this wall of "well what now?" Once the main figures are laid out. Drop any tutorial artists if you know any landscape youtubers. I need more help lol

I helped my wife make a very fair vampire commander deck and now i need to summon all my restraint to not make a very unfair obeka deck. Again. Because i have obeka's.

The last project is done & so is the first semester! i can see a few spots to bump up but i CBA anymore. although if anyone with any level of animation should happen to see this please any feedback at all is appreciated! thanks!

Cinderman @cinderman.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

welp. all finished. 67 impala. Very fun and very mad i left it for so long because i would have loved more time to do the scene and lights. procrastination is a bitch.

Cinderman @cinderman.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

Once the semester ends next week im gonna have free time and i just dont know what games to play. Briar only jungle to emerald? The classic Gwen anywhere to emerald? I NEED to finish SH2remake. I have reignited my joy of video editing but i dont have any footage. Not sure what to do

I just submit a final project containing th quote "Bustin makes me feel good" from ghostbusters and i cant tell if im very funny or expelled.

Needs some proper lighting and Colors/Textures. But the body is finished. looks abit cartoony now but once i add that stuff and put it in a lil scene i think it will look real nice. #3Dmodel #67impala #supernatural

The thing that kicks my butt about school is everything seems so daunting and impossible to even begin. Yet once i sit down and acctually open whatever program i need and start working its very enjoyable. Often just as fun as gaming. Next semester i need to focus on not procrastinating.

Cinderman @cinderman.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

Almost made 100k minutes. Awe well next year maybe

000

Cinderman @cinderman.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

This 3D modeling stuff is such a headache but it is also the most interesting strategy game ive ever played. How do i make a truck out of squares from nothing without ever making a shape with more or less than 4 sides? Will this angle ruin me 3 hours from now? Cant wait to start making characters!

000

Cinderman @cinderman.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

I think the idea to call bluesky posts "bleets" is very cute and fun because thats the noise lil sheeps and goats make at each other. However, insane people will draw comparisons to users making posts named after sheep noises and thats not fun at all.

Anybody here play league of legends or watch arcane? I have big viktor feelings but specifically from a charactervisual-gameplay design perspective and new viktor clashes in a way that makes me uncomfortable

Drawing is so fun but i am SO SLOW. Maybe it because its always for school. Im worried if it was just spent spare time id be even slower 😭
