I haven’t read this anywhere, and have very little to back up this theory, but… Marching in step is something you learn in basic training. It is repeated many times during one’s service. It would have been practiced extensively prior to a parade. Is it possible these weren’t actual soldiers?

My puppy had neuter surgery today. One testicle never dropped. We expected one small abdominal incision in addition to the regular scrotal, the doc said once she did the abdominal one, a large one,it moved and she needed to make a third to find it. Anyone else have that happen? (Pic in reply)
