cici @ciciology.bsky.social · 05/01/2025so the manga is great as a refresher and to follow the original source material but I do think that it’s worth watching it play out in motion too :D it lets u sit with each moment for a bit longer 000
cici @ciciology.bsky.social · 05/01/2025I will say tho I think the anime does a better job at the actual battle sequences and impactful transformations .. cos goku becoming the legendary super saiyan in Z Kai was CRAZYYYYYY to witness but in the manga it happened within a panel 😭 same w major character deaths 100
cici @ciciology.bsky.social · 05/01/2025I like that the manga doesn’t have filler arcs but I do wish we had more opportunities to flesh out the interpersonal relations between the Z fighters .. like how tf did Vegeta and Bulma even bond 100
cici @ciciology.bsky.social · 05/01/2025I luv my little gohan 🥺 and I like the trio w Bulma and Krillin hehe and I couldn’t stand Vegeta when I watched the anime but I’m tolerating him more in the manga I’ll admit that he is an interesting character and has some of the best development .. he’s low key funny too😒 100
cici @ciciology.bsky.social · 05/01/2025wow okay I’m on frieza saga now 😳 this is a lot easier to read I think Toriyama shifted from a gag manga to a serious story for Z the characters feel a lot more likable to me !!! there’s less yucky fanservice and more focus on a compelling narrative :D 100
