everyone in the world is so beautiful and amazing and different and creative and if literally everyone had a little more money and a little less sadness and were just a little nicer to each other we could create a chain reaction so major the very universe would celebrate our success

riddle me why people are getting called racist for pronouncing r’s in Japanese words the way they are supposed to be pronounced in Japanese, but get made fun of if they don’t roll their r’s with Spanish words??? Why does that make sense???

My favorite subgenre of internet is cat accounts. Not about cats, but run by them Smilla, do you know a Merv perchance?

As a pretty avid non-Christian with a substantial amount of religious trauma, still can’t understand when people will make up and point fingers at someone else seemingly just for…… being Christian??? Also, the gun system is fucked, that doesn’t make everyone who owns a gun inherently immoral.

What’s really discouraging is the fact that if I made $300-$400 a week on commissions/adopts/art generalized, I wouldn’t have to work DoorDash at all anymore. I could sustain my partner and I on just art and my barista job. But nobody has money for art right now, which is no one’s fault, just sucks

insisting #puphoods are inherently sexual actually makes you no better than those that insist #fursuits are too.

Black artists/oc creators: As white person, is it fine for me to refer to my black/black-coded OCs as studs? Or would it be better to avoid that since it's still not my vernacular to use? Genuine question. I'm just very neurodivergent and worried to be offensive 🤍 #art #artist #oc

(4) cue complete invalidation of that identity "You're 15 it's fine if you don't have those feelings yet" "Eventually you'll find someone you feel it for" "Your future husband blah blah blah..." fundies solely want TO CONTROL your sex, not prevent you from it which is even fucking worse.

(3) cuz of that, and other things, my friend once got confronted very aggressively by her mother if she was a lesbian she denied it, cuz she wasn't one, and eventually came out as asexual. something that should be a positive surprise to a conservative christian mother yeah?

I do kinda wish bluesky had groups like twitter does tho tbh furry art groups are so good to promote in, especially since the furry catwalk subreddit is so oversaturated and I don't really feel like anyone is there to buy, just promote

Drawing a snake for each month this year!! ….lets pretend I posted this yesterday, since this would be January’s snake…. My voyfriend has been playing #livlyisland lately! It’s super cute and I love seeing it’s hom and livly so I decided to draw them for this month! Kai (hom) and Soba (livly!)

A hom and livly from the mobile game Livly Island.

The hom, Kai, has bright green skin with short, green-white hair with brown and green tips. They have pointed ears with darker green tips. They have yellow sclera and purple pupils. They have pointed red makeup around their eyes. Axolotl-like fronds stick out from their hair. They have a light blue salamander-like tail with green accents. They are wearing a maroon sweater with a brown patch on the arm. They have puffy, tan plaid shorts on and short brown leather boots. They also have an over-the-shoulder bag on, shaped like an apple.

The livly, Soba, is a Janomonoke — a large snake-like creature with a fluffy white-green mane with gold tips. Their skin is neon green with three distinctive stripes the colour of their mane. They have a black underbelly. Their eyes are the same as Kai’s, with the same makeup around them as well. They have a long forked tongue, blue with green tips.

Kai is holding Soba in their arms, smiling at him, and he’s sticking his tongue out at them happily

My s**cidal partner looks me in the eyes and begs me to tell them what there is to live for My mouth is dry and empty. No words come out because there is nothing left There is no hope in my heart. There is no optimism left to give The world is burning, and we are going with it
