Bus Éireann would be a fantastic contestant on the Traitors - being able to lie about everything without ever being held accountable for it. Waiting 40+ minutes for a service that’s supposed to be every 15, when there’s no traffic at all to delay it, is simply unacceptable. Cork deserves better.

A ghost 220 and then a 220X drives right past without stopping, five people at the stop with their hands out and it clearly wasn’t full. Why even have a bus service in Cork? Disgraceful, nothing ever changes and this is supposed to be the improved services after the driver shortage. #Cork

Around 55 minutes waiting on a bus from Ballincollig into #Cork city. Corks biggest urban area of commuters. 3 schedules buses are no shows, an unscheduled one doesn’t stop for us, and this is all on the already reduced devices. #Balincollig

Ireland, a country where they reduce the bus services, print posters for the bus stops with the reduced schedules and yet they can’t even get anywhere near that. Bus Éireann is truly not fit for purpose in its current state. Can’t wait to be late to college today! #Cork

Thanks so much Bus Éireann for cancelling the 220 and delaying the 220X, not worth standing out in the freezing cold for over half an hour only to miss my morning lecture. Cork’s system is so broken and it’s only getting worse. Thousands of commuters ignored and abandoned every single day. #GE2024
