Lots of hubby hugs and kisses this morning, and then Lilly turned up and we napped in bed together. She's super affectionate lately. 💕 I wonder if it's because she feels so much better or if she knows I tried to help her. Animals are so much more clever than we often give them credit for.

Feeling very sleepy this morning, but with a sense of peace I haven't felt in a while. Lilly is doing so so much better (my biggest relief), my basement renovation and attic clearout projects are progressing nicely, work isn't stressing me out, had a chill weekend with friends... Life is good. ❤️

Lillys checkup today was okay! Her heartrate is a little too fast still and we gotta keep fighting the pulmonary edema, but she doesn't need to physically come in again for now. :D My brave girl!

Lilly is tough as nails, you guys. Yesterday she had to see the vet again, because she had trouble breathing. We weren't sure she'd make it, the afternoon was particularly bad. But she looks much better today, alert and hungry and snuggly. You can tell she wants to live. 🩵🥺

We took our baby to the emergency vet. She either had a stroke or vestibular syndrome. We'll be watching and coddling her for a few days and see what happens. I was prepared to have to put her down, it's a relief we were able to take her back home with us. ❤️
