the best thing about folklore is that it exists and i can go back and listen to it whenever the fuck i want. i don’t need to compare every new album to folklore and get mad because the new songs don’t have exactly the same kind of lyricism. because i understand that her discography is diverse.

my sister went to the same doctor FOUR times with flu like symptoms and swelling limbs. they sent her home with prescription strength uti meds... her uti culture was negative. a week later she entered a coma due to heart and multi-organ failure as a result of untreated flu-A

as a fat woman with many fat friends (fat is not a bad word)- so many of us have suffered because of medical bias. doctors need to do better, but unfortunately until they do, it's on us to know our bodies and make things happen when we need care.

if you think something is wrong with your body you HAVE to advocate for yourself. most doctors (at least in the us) do NOT care as much as they should- especially if you are fat. my sister died because her doctor thought she just wanted a note to miss work. fat people are NOT lazy or irresponsible.
