People did travel to CCS (which you mentioned) just not in the numbers the leadership expected. Went back to CAP and crowds recovered. As for not travelling anywhere else, that’s incorrect.

That’s because they never wanted to leave CAP in the first place. It was a catastrophic decision all round. Supporters voted with their feet and attendances improved again when they returned. CCS was an anomaly.

They had a good chance when Gareth Davies was there and the clubs voted him out and brought in a geography teacher. Since then it’s been a litany of bad decisions. There’s some decent people on the board (Andrew Williams) but the key decision makers just aren’t suitable e.g. a civil servant.

There’s a huge amount in there, but if we’re talking about rugby, there’s a huge amount of factors which differentiate the two. Massive tax breaks, not giving 10m plus to amateur clubs, private school investment, the list goes on. Read the union accounts, pissing money away on vanity projects like

And in a league where salary caps etc exist we have more chance of making that happen. The Welsh teams will always be bottom of the pile when with due respect even the Italians have more. In short the game is a huge clusterfcuk here at the moment and we’re broke.
