my year in books! 📚 (provided I don’t read any more this month, at least…) not my best reading year, but something to build on in 2025!

Graph shows I read 33 books, 10,384 pages, with an average 3 days to finish. Most books were dark and mysterious, lol.

A chart graphs how much I read this year. May was the most pages read at almost 2,000.

Pie chart shows that I read 64% print books and 38% digital books.

Pie graph shows that 70% of the books I read this year were 300-499 pages and 30% under 300 pages.

I remain obsessed with my Rook — I don’t think I’ve taken this many pictures of a Dragon Age protagonist before 🤭

This is apparently the only use of the word “main” in the entire book!! I had to sift through a lot of “remains” to find this one 😅 #WIPSnips

Charley memorized as best he could Rune and Fence’s directions. Behind the Greasy Weasel sat the entrance to the Drenchwood Forest. If Charley stayed on the path, it would eventually turn into the main road out of town and, following it and taking the fourth left and second right that presented themselves, he should be in Woodcrest in a few hours. From there, he would be well on his way to finding a Guide.
And, he hoped but didn’t say as he bid Rune and Fence goodbye, a way home.

Rook being Emmrich’s little mini-me with the hands constantly on the hips!! The level of sass between these two 😭😭

My mom pulled this dying pentas plant while gardening; I noticed it had a monarch chrysalis on it and hurriedly stuffed it back into the ground. The plant is still going through it, but the monarch hatched this morning!! Check your plants, people 😅

Just finished Don’t Let the Forest In by @paperfury.bsky.social. I already knew I was going to love it going in, but I was still blown away. So darkly atmospheric, such lovely and haunting prose, and the plot was way more twisty and turny than I was expecting! Just a great experience. 5/5 stars!!

Something I love about Dragon Age Veilguard is that my Rook is at a level of clumsiness that I find personally very relatable

Trying to get a pretty shot of Sampson and Charley to show off the sun catchers — Charley cracks me up, he’s incapable of not glaring at the camera 😂
