The "free Lightroom alternative" lists recommend darktable. Free? Nope. Beware the hidden costs. I tried darktable. Couldn't get my head around it, and when I dug deeper I was shocked. www.chuckhenrich.com/darktable-le... #photography #darktable #photoediting #fotografie #photographie

One of the most moving images from budapest pride 28-06-2025. The commitment of that old man to join in what might be his last chance to stand for dignity against the arson commited by @Orbán and @fidesz. And the stamina demonstrated. That pic was taken near *the end* of the march...

ALT text: A rectangular window set into an interior wall. The window is framed with a beige-colored trim, creating a recessed effect. The view through the window shows a minimalistic gradient, divided into two horizontal sections. The upper half is a bright light gray, while the lower half is a solid bright dark blue, creating a horizon line effect. The window is framed outside with horizontal stripes: a wide dark blue stripe in the center, flanked by lighter beige bands at the top and bottom.

A symmetric, abstract design with a central focus. Overlapping circular and petal-like shapes in varying shades of gold and burnt ochre set against a dark background. A bright yellow circle floats at the center, surrounded by four elongated petal shapes emanating outward, creating star-like pattern. This central structure is encased within a larger, softly glowing circle, which is further surrounded by darker concentric circles.

A symmetrical, geometric design in shades of gold and black. At the center are two overlapping, almond-shaped ellipses with black outlines, creating a leaf-like pattern. The surrounding area consists of curved, glowing lines forming circular shapes that radiate from the center, giving the appearance of petals. The background is a deep burnt gold gradient, smoothly transitioning to a darker hue at the outer edges. The overall aesthetic is reminiscent of a kaleidoscope or a mandala, with a smooth texture and harmonious composition.

impossible architecture 16:29:24 1 #abstract #abstractPhotography #architecture #architecturePhotography #photography #photographers

A symmetrical architectural interior with an abstract, futuristic design. The scene is dominated by an intense golden glow. Two large rectangular panels extend from both sides towards the center, leaving a dark, elongated opening in the middle that adds depth to the image. The walls are geometrically patterned with converging lines and angular cutouts, enhancing the sense of symmetry and perspective. The entire structure appears to be illuminated from within, casting soft shadows and emphasizing the sleek lines and smooth textures of the surfaces.

blue sky #photography #photographers #skies

A clear blue sky with a scattering of fluffy, white clouds. There are several clouds of varying shapes and sizes spread across the upper portion of the image. The largest cloud is towards the upper left, appearing dense with well-defined edges. To its right are smaller, more wispy clouds that trail into a series of smaller, scattered formations, conveying a sense of movement. The contrast between the vibrant blue of the sky and the bright white of the clouds highlights their texture and shape.

An ominous black and white photo of a tall abandoned brick tower with empty windows showing the sky behind it. There's a metal observation balcony near the top with mysterious poles standing up along it.
