You can actually develop some decent hand-eye coordination and muscle memory skills by tracing or manually copying other people's art. When I was a kid, I would trace manga/game art to help learn. Misappropriating art is the bad part. Prompters just type and drain resources while stealing.

Executives and the people trying to make money don't understand this. They think: "Thing made money, let's make thing again, get more money. It sure bet!" It doesn't work that way. It's better to make something NEW, INSPIRED by the previous work, not a copy of it. Take what was good and build on it.

The reason a lot of remakes of anything: games, movies, etc, don't work... is because art is an alchemy created under unique conditions that often can't be reproduced. Creators and their state of mind at the time, their passion, drive, a cohesive team working together, using specific tools.

Translation is about understanding the intent of the original language and expressing it in another. It is not 1 to 1. Many words inherently do NOT have meaning or lack the cultural ideology in another language. Which is why machine translation is awful, it's GUESSING at meaning based on patterns.
