Bad Schandau gave me the positive surprise of a nice view and no illegal checks at a German border. Granted, we should already be in Dresden, but who is counting in a #nightjet.
View across the Elbe from a moving train. A tour boat is moored on the near more on the far side. The city riverfront has a mix of old and new buildings, a church tower is visible behind it.

Sun has just not risen over the hills behind the town.

Heading for my first #ETSI meeting: on #DectNRPlus. After having contributed to many #IETF meetings in the last decade, how different can it be? Well, I know they have better graphics and worse hyperlinks. For everything else, I'll see in the coming three days. #nightjet
A train station scene. The sign says Hauptbahnhof; reflection makes the word "Wien" before it almost illegible. A motion blurred train leaves the platform, in front of a cyclist whose identity is hidden by the signpost. The ceiling of the station is visible, showing a variety of lights, and giving a glimpse of the black night sky.

Things that didn't make it into the #DectNRPlus slides for @RIOT_OS summit: making light fun of ITU's naming for the radio standards of the decade. No wonder 3G, 4G and 5G won the race for catchiness.

The diff on CSV data that #Forgejo (and thus #Codeberg) provides is really useful – right now for reviewing new #CoAP options and content formats as they go into the `coap-numbers` crate.
A pull request view on a PR titled "Add new option numbers". It shows a changed file with a color bar (9 changes: 7 additions, 2 deletions), and file name, followed by a tabular view of the CSV file:
In one line (name "Unassigned"), only the first "Number" column changed (from 141-251 to 141-234), followed by 4 wholly new lines in green ("235 | Proxy-Cri | RFC-ietf-core-href-29", a new Unreserved, etc).

@quixoticgeek Makes me happy once more to to live in #Vienna where those things work like this: If you have a ticket, you walk through. Otherwise, too (but you'd pay a fine when they catch you in one of the rare random checks).
Three oblong bollards, spaced a bit more than 1m apart, on a tactile area spanning across a corridor. Every other bollard has a blue box on top that could stamp and invalidate tickets.

As @Codeberg's CI is seeing regressions around #IPv6, I'm exploring @codefloe, which uses a Woodpecker fork called Crow. Among many other nice things, it features a pipeline dependency graph. So far, this looks quite promising.
Screenshot of a web page section. A progress bar at the top shows a "Pipeline Progress: 12/13 steps", and a graph below shows how "test:3.13-minimal", "mypy", "ruff" and "reuse" depend on an initial "clone", several other tests depend on "test:3.13-minimal", and a final "build-pages" step depends on virtually everything else.

Leaving Vienna for #DectWorld (Munich) in the small morning hours. Pros: Every street is a pedestrian area when there are barely any cars. Cons: Train station bakeries open way after the first train leaves.
Street at night: Praterstraße overlooking Praterstern plaza (with a tall navy memorial column) from mid-road. Street lamps, traffic lights and an ÖBB sign on the far side of the plaza illuminate the fog. No cars visible.
