Valkyrie Saga (2026) is pretty neat and it's 30% off on Steam as well! It's rough around the edges (there's some bugs and confusing visuals a bit), but it's a fun experience to glide around this world and meet a ton of NPCs while unraveling the game's secrets. store.steampowered.com/app/2663150/...

I know Bruce's dad in the comics was abusive, too, but the Hulk 2003 version of the character goes in a completely different direction while still being loathsome yet compelling to watch. And Nick Nolte kills it in his performance, too. He should be up there with the Raimi Spider-Villains.

Oh my god, I had no idea Kojima rewrote Death Stranding 2 halfway through because too many people liked it, what a poser.

Approximately half-way into development, Kojima decided to re-write the script in order to make it more polarising after it performed very well with test audiences.[22] Kojima explained to co-composer Woodkid:

We have a problem. I'm going to be very honest, we have been testing the game with players and the results are too good. They like it too much. That means something is wrong; we have to change something. If everyone likes it, it means it's mainstream. It means it's conventional. It means it's already pre-digested for people to like it. And I don't want that. I want people to end up liking things they didn't like when they first encountered it, because that's where you really end up loving something.[23]

Kojima says AI works best as a janitor for creative chores, and that humans need to stay in the room where art gets made. But he sounds less certain than he used to.

oh wait shit I missed the other paragraph in the article that mentions the incident does use the word "firing", but it also said a senior producer witnessed the event and ignored it, which would still be hard to do if the gun actually went off. That producer should get their job deleted immediately
