It's my "Level Up!" Day and this is the only decision I'm making this morning.

A Nintendo Switch 2 controller and a PlayStation 5 controller next to each other on a blue ottoman.

A few gifts for my daughter's birthday and some "free" point goodies from the Nintendo store that game in recently. Glad I was patient and got the Super Mario Galaxy collection during the 30% off sale. #Nintendo #Pokemon #Zelda

A lavender Pokemon Ditto notebook, the Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 collection game for Nintendo Switch, and a Pikachu Amiibo figurine.

A Super Mario World metal display of the SNES box art, a Legend of Zelda metal display of the NES box art, and two Super Mario 40th anniversary pins.

I managed to stay awake until midnight to download the demo of #Castlevania Belmont's Curse on my Switch 2 and my PS5. If I'm not about to pass out when it finishes downloading, I'll probably check out the Nintendo Switch version first. #gamingsky

Whelp! I couldn't help myself once I got the in-stock notification. I'll be surprised if I actually get it in time for the Ocarina of Time remake. Either way, I'm broke but excited. Happy 40th to the Legend of Zelda!

I finished my Lego Gameboy right before dinner tonight. I really loved this set and had to put it on top of the Lego NES since I'm out of shelf room. Looks good though. Would love to add more of these one day. The Gamecube would be awesome! 😄

It took a little longer to arrive than expected but was in good shape. Just a little overripe. Might keep it "New-In-Peel" for now. *(Mineru's Construct Amiibo for scale) #LegendofZelda #Amiibo #banana

Don't tell Princess Zelda but I'd totally give Ganondorf the Triforce for that Special Edition Nintendo Switch 2...

ChronoDrifter @chronodrifter.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I've been pretty excited about what Nintendo might do for the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda all year. I definitely enjoyed the presentation today but I'm a bit exhausted from my son's hospital procedure and definitely don't have energy for the online negativity. Resting up for tomorrow.

ChronoDrifter @chronodrifter.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

I'd give Sephiroth the Black Materia for that Japan exclusive trilogy collector's edition of Final Fantasy VII Revelation/. #FF7R

Y'all. I've totally "deep dived" back into the Kingdom Hearts series after the Nintendo preview and D23 trailers this summer. Finally got caught up with Pre-KH3 story stuff I missed. Now to find time to finish that delayed playthrough.

Well, I thought I had that cover. But I have these.

ChronoDrifter @chronodrifter.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Went through my boxes of game guides during lunch and found the ones for Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, and Chain of Memories. Now I REALLY need to get off socials for a while and get some work done.

ChronoDrifter @chronodrifter.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Found my #KingdomHearts 2 Sora & Roxas figures as well but everything needs to go back into storage bins since I have relatives staying over this weekend and I need the spare room clean. Maybe one day I'll have a display space that I can rotate my collections.

Anyone else playing a Kingdom Hearts game this week after the D23 news and extended trailer? And also R.I.P. Hayden Panettiere. Absolutely tragic. Heard the news late last night.

I finally got around to playing Dispatch on my PS5 the other night! Been trying to get some time at night to play since it's not exactly kid-friendly. 😅

ChronoDrifter @chronodrifter.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Played some Mario Kart World with the kids last week. I still can't help but make ridiculous Photo Mode screenshots but I'm still not sure I've found the best use of the stickers. Glad they added the feature though since they were barely being used after collecting them.

My summer schedule has been pretty exhausting. I've been trying to find some time and energy to get back into some unfinished #jrpgs on my Nintendo Switch at night but just can't decide what to play. #gamingsky

How is it already the 3 year anniversary of Final Fantasy XVI?! I know it's a divisive game in the FF community, (what isn't these days) but I had a blast. Can't wait to see what comes next in the series after the FFVII Remake Trilogy concludes. #gamingsky #jrpgs #FinalFantasy

I found some old gaming magazines I had boxes up in the office. Picked out this EGM showcasing Final Fantasy VII Advent Children and the compilation. Hoping it brings some luck to see a #FF7R Part 3 trailer at Summer Game Fest! 😁

So, what should I put on this bagel for my #breakfast this morning?

010

ChronoDrifter @chronodrifter.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

Today got busy quick. Made some tacos with some pre-made carnitas for lunch and played a bit more of Mixtape before needing to rush off.

ChronoDrifter @chronodrifter.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

Picked up the Game Boy LEGO set this past weekend. Can't wait to put it together and add it to the shelves. Unfortunately my dedicated Lego shelves are looking a bit full. Especially after adding the Deku Tree last year. #LEGO #Nintendo #GameBoy #retrogaming #gamingsky

ChronoDrifter @chronodrifter.bsky.social · 08/05/2026

So I've played 5 minutes of the #Mixtape game, because that's all the time I have right now, and I'm already hooked. Definitely seems to be a big hit and worth checking out. Especially for $20. Where's my Gen X & 90's kids gamers?

I'm not really in the mood for social media today but wanted to celebrate the 1st release date anniversary of Clair Obscur Expedition 33. I was hoping to find time to beat the game this month but I just got to this part last night. Enjoy your Friday!

Oh! Look what finally got delivered. My physical copy of Final Fantasy IX for Nintendo Switch and some bonus steel books for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Octopath Traveller II. The FF7R box is actually a gift for my brother since I got one already when it first released.

Jumping back into Clair Obscur Expedition 33 this weekend. I was totally off my game trying out some optional bosses, so I guess I'll continue into the Act II story. So Sirene or Visages?

A happy 6th anniversary to Final Fantasy VII Remake's original launch day! Can't believe it's been that long already. Next year in 2027, it will be the 30th anniversary of the original PS1 FFVII and also the 7th for Remake. Maybe we'll also get #FF7R Part 3 next year as well! 😵‍💫

Well. We finally broke down and bought #Pokemon Pokopia this weekend. It's already taken over the family TV. I've probably lost the Switch 2 for the foreseeable future to my wife and kids. Guess I'll move the PS5 to the other room for now. #gamingsky #NintendoSwitch2 #gamerdad
