Started college, and even though at 51, one difficult class is enough (considering I'm just on the edge of being homeless, 😶). But so far I'm doing pretty good in Management. I really really hope this helps me find a nice comfy job so I don't have to worry about a home.

Right now, I have a place helping me to pay for rent on an apartment. Unfortunately, I need three times the rent to stay here. So I have 6 months to make $2,415 a month. Doordash I get roughly $1200. So I'm hoping I can find something better.

After 25 years of hell, I am free-ish. The blasted dizzy spells from the aspirin (that I took out of desperation to leave her before she made me leave) and my chronic pains from letting her control me, are going to make it bloody hard to find a new career, but at least I'll be allowed to try.

The last picture I have of my boys together. Wakko vanished from the sanctuary not long after this, and Dot about a week later. They were the only ones, besides grandkids, that went out of their way to show me any real affection in that house. I hate her, and I hate myself for staying so long.

Ok! On my...fourth month? Fifth month? Of being out of that house I am finally at the stage I can save money. It's still not enough to pay for a place to live and the deposit, but bloody close. I just need $480 more and I can have a home once again.

Waiting for the blasted NSAID made GERD dizziness to abate a little so I can start trying to make money. Yeesh! Plus, only got 3 hours of sleep last night because of the NSAID made GERD coughing fits from the humidity and salty food I ate last night. Yeesh!

A gal at the Kansasworks in another city got a front row seat to how my pains affect me, and she told me it was best that I came back home to have my case worker help. Which is true, but they still don't know how severe these pains can truly be. 🥺. Luckily they haven't been too bad camping. Yet.

Only one cat left, and she'll be put to sleep on Monday. The others are at the sanctuary, and one ran off as we didn't notice another door open. Now I am fully and completely alone. My wife is allowing me to stay til after my dr. appt. And god I hope they can help me survive. So tired.

I may be getting kicked out of my house (But I need to leave even if it's not so), so I'm looking for work. I'm a chronic pain sufferer, so I need something not very physically demanding if at all possible. In the comments I'll list links of things I can sell to help pay for my way.

Oof! Trying to learn kotlin on android studio in hopes to make money and escape my spouse, and I really am comfuddled by it. Assembly is easier than this, HAH! The only OOP I really ever programmed heavily in was RQBasic back in the late 90's, and I'm not young any more. Just have to keep trying.

One of the biggest things I had begged my wife to do to help me, was just to pull up a chair and sit and talk to me so I wouldn't focus too much on the pain. I even tried to get the kids to help, but I was being mean. "They don't have to help". Erf! Chronic pain sucks when you're faking it. 😐

Felt good enough to clean, and of course the wife has to start mocking/belittling me for it. Like I don't want to clean. Yeesh! I'm the only one who wants to clean, and actively tries. It isn't my fault I'm in too much pain to be able to keep up with it all.

I've started adding in the glottalized consonants, as there are enough characters for k', and tz' & ch' can be easily dealt with. However, p' & t' characters will be the most difficult. So I am using a part of t'o for the moment for the t' characters.

Ok! So I've started attempting to program in assembly again, and as usual, in many ways it's easier & in others not so much. 🤷. Though, ran into a bit of a snag on my next task. I can get the count of arguments passed to the program, but the stack doesn't contain the pointers to the strings. O_o.

Ppp! At the tedious stage of this. Just writing things down as often as I can without writing in the roman script so I can read it later. It's the only way I can think of to find the best syntax rules.

Also, I've started adding more characters in. So far just k'an and k'ak' for the sound k'a. Plus I'm using all affixes for ta and la more often as well.

Icecast is running with only a few hiccups, and I know with certainty I could rustle up apache with php and mysql and get phpBB going. But lemmy? Oh dependency hell, yikes!

More Tzotzil in Mayan tests. Using the idea that (su) is a blend of (sa) & (u) [D], I took the character (k'an) and wrote it with (u). Also, I tinkered with the concept of writing similar sounds to represent other sounds. Thus (tz'i) spelled (tzi). "Mu jna' ta k'u jtz'ibaj [mu-j-na ta-k'u-j-tzi-ba]"

Hmm! Trying some things out, and it occurred to me that the first part of the fixes te & ti could be used as short characters for certain words. I'll have to experiment with them, but so far they work quite well for Tzotzil. 🤔🤔🤔

The really iffy ones are til and tel, only la is capable of being a "small" character. le, li, lo, and lu are large characters (lo and lu are only main signs).

Hmm! Have a couple comic ideas that I'd like to draw up, but not sure if I'll be able to. Wife will take anything I say and turn it into a 'weapon' to berate me, and a foot walking on eggshells, or a dragonfly nymph lying in wait would make for a good comic. 🤔 Do I have the will/strength to do it?

Sweet bean pancakes. I really wanted to make mochi, but I'm just too sore to clean the counter, besides my legs almost gave out in the middle of making these. 😢, oh well, they're still pretty good.

Nothing fancy, just wanted to use up my cranberry & mayocoba beans. Just sugar and no spices this time, but man I wish I added some ground ginger, heh.
