One of my all-time favorite artists posted on Twitter that their work is being fed through AI and they won't post new stuff there. Of course I'm saddened by this. Both that I won't see more of their beautiful art, but also that it even happened in the first place. Fuck Generative AI.

I love that Metroid Ravenous has people talking a lot more about Dread, Fusion, and Samus Returns. And a lot of people are trying the series for the first time too! Kinda has me tempted to start rambling about the series and lore stuff I think a lot of people miss, especially about the X and SA-X.

Me and one of my housemates initially had the thought that it looked like the pseudo-clay look that Echoes of Wisdom and Link's Awakening had, but turned up to a realistic 11. After seeing a video talk about the dolls it all made so much more sense. I'm happy it's stylized, not just "Full HD"

I wish I could gush over all the reasons why, but I'm not about to dump all that trauma bonding publicly. The secrets shared between us will stay that way, but they've become a bond that I cannot imagine possibly breaking.

It's not often I hear people talk about platonic love, not nearly as much as romantic love at least, but Mel has earned a very special place in my heart. I can wholeheartedly say I love this silly little slime. Being a part of their journey is an immense honor I would never trade for anything.

I absolutely hate these job application questionnaires. My optimism is built on a foundation of knowing how things can go wrong. But not only can I not express that with this, but if I give what the hiring manager deems is a "wrong answer" I don't even get a chance to explain a thing like that.

This gremlin heard about what was going on, heard plans to move me out here were going slow, and not only funded most of the trip, but tried to spend over $1,000 to upgrade me from coach. Hid bank panicked at that, which I'm happy for because I already feel bad that he had to step in and rescue me.

He's also the main reason why I was able to move out of the verbally and emotionally abusive household I was in until recently. Abuse hits ten times harder when it comes from family, especially your mother when you've tried to forgive her your whole life. But that's another story.

But I think what I'm going to do, is once a day make some level of post(s) about something or someone I care about. I want to start with mutual friends mostly and work my way out towards acquaintances, people I admire/look up to, and games that have had a positive impact on my life.

In the past I've tried and then deleted everything, because places like Twitter honestly suck for a variety of reasons. And then I go quiet and use my social media accounts to just silently like and appreciate art and ideas. I'm sure plenty of people would assume I'm a bot unfortunately xD

I've always told myself I should be more active on social media, largely as an extension of wanting to be more social in general. You wouldn't believe how quiet I am 99% of the time if you only know me via my streams and my endless yapping there xD

Would've been better if I hadn't over-eaten at the buffet last night, but other than that and some weird dreams it was fantastic sleep <3
