iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I love drawing sturgeon, there's something about them that is so primordial.

A digital drawing, done in Procreate. An Anishinaabe kwe with brown skin and brunette hair is smiling and looking off to the left. She is wearing birch bark earrings with quillwork that says "LAND BACK" that have been beaded with sunset colors. She has a birch bark hair clip with a cedar bough painted on and is edged in the same sunset colors. She is wearing a bright blue shirt. There are three sturgeon behind her and one sturgeon in front of her.

I've got the drawing bug again :)

A digital drawing done in Procreate. A dark skinned, alternative black girl with locs that are bright pink at the root and gradate into neon green. She has 5 facial piercings and 4 earrings, including an industrial. She is wearing an evil eye necklace. Her shirt is black with a turquoise swirl design, and the background is blue and green with a similar turquoise swirl design. There is a border of safety pins surrounding the girl.

I think this simplified style is fun to work in :)

An elven witch smoking an opium pipe. She has blonde hair with a light teal ombre. Her witch hat and dress are dark green with purple accents. The purple underside of the hat, the bow and the pocket of her dress are purple with a starry pattern. She is sitting on a multicolored bean bag. She's blowing O's in the smoke and the smoke drifting from the pipe is going through one of the O's.

Experimenting with stylization, proportions, and shape design with some kind of cyberpunk inspired character

A digital sketch of a girl standing. She has muscular arms and a chubby belly. Her stance is wide and she is scowling. She has long hair that sort of spikes outwards, a bridge piercing, and cyberware that extends from her belly to her face. She is wearing a tank top that is tied on the side with a fishnet top underneath. She is wearing gloves that make her hands huge with bandages that extend just below her elbows underneath, and her sneakers are also chunky.

Commission for @nuscene.bsky.social !!! :D This was genuinely so much fun to work on and challenging too!!! Thank you!!!

A digital drawing of a middle aged pale man with yellow eyes wiping blood off his face. He has dark brown hair and a beard, and scars on his face. He's scowling. He's wearing dark plate and chainmail armor.

I haven't had the time nor energy to draw consistently for a little while but today I tried a new method where I stare at the wall until I feel motivated to draw and it resulted in this sketch of Tomura :D

A digital sketch using a brush that resembles a brush pen of Tomura Shigaraki from My Hero Academia wearing a long sleeved, striped shirt. He has messy shoulder length that comes down in pointy wisps. His eyes are shaded in with many lines to signify skin irritation, there is skin irritation on his neck as well. His head is slightly tilted upwards and he's looking at the viewer with maybe a bored or unamused expression.

I have no idea where the pen I used for this came from but honestly it was a joy to work with. Here is a drawing of me :D

A black ink drawing of someone sitting with one leg kicked out and their hands leaning between their legs on whatever surface they're sitting on. They have a bored expression on their face and are looking to the side. They have multiple piercings on their face and their hair is pulled into two long, messy braids that swirl towards the left of the image. The shading is done using heavy cross hatching.

U can tell coloring is my favorite part of digital art bc I'm supposed to be studying the figure and instead I'm ignoring that to practice perceived color n light

An unfinished digital painting of a Black woman wearing fulani braids that are pulled into a ponytail with a large orange scrunchie that matches her orange halter top. Blue light reflects off of her skin, matching the beads in her hair.

I messed around in my sketchbook for the first time in . Probably a year or two :D

A very loose drawing done with alcohol markers and colored pencils of an anthropomorphic fennec fox wizard. They are wearing a blue mage's cloak and hat with a flowing grey garment underneath. They are creating a sort of glowing blue magic with their hands and their eyes are glowing blue as well.

I was helping clean my grandmother's living room and found this inkwash painting I did for school in like 2018 lol

A black and white inkwash and gouache painting depicting a bunch of anthropomorphic opossums hanging out in a graveyard. The painting is made to look like a camera screen, like they were taking flash photos. Moths swarm around the opossums towards the light, causing chaos as one moth is crushed against the camera lens and smeared across the screen. One opossum in the back revels in the chaos, a smug grin etched across their face.

This commission initially scared me because painting billions of tiny rocks seemed like a lot but I think this is actually going decently well

An unfinished watercolor painting with billions of little rocks. There is a lake visible in the distance.

I thought it would be fun and challenging to do a study of the album art for Calling All Cars On The Vegas Strip by Jucifer :)

A white woman with blonde hair holds a gun in both hands, pointing it at the viewer. She is squinting. Behind her is a white car with the driver's seat door open, a red briefcase visible on the passenger side. There is a tree behind her and some buildings.

The moth painting is gorgeous, I love the way that the translucent qualities of her skin matches the coloration of the moths

Here is this vampire lady I did the other day that I am very happy with :)

A digital illustration using only variations of cyan and red. A woman stands facing away from the viewer with only her face visible. She is putting her fingers together in a conniving manner and has long brown hair. A vampire bat perches on her head, spreading its wings and shrieking. Behind both is a giant red eye.

mola swim #art

A herd of mola molas swimming in a turbulent blue ocean.
They stare onward, clearly having no thoughts.
Some close their eyes, letting the waves carry them.
Nobody knows where they are going.
It is just a summer day like any other.

In time, among the silver palaces of the White Desert, the emblems of the ancient rulers of Saturn took another kind of life, other meanings but they have never lost glamour or power.
