I feel like a lot of why AI is being used in software is because coordination around reusable standards is much harder than just making a bespoke solution. Its especially bad when brands want to infuse their "identity" into UI to make it marketable.

I really hate Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" I feel like taken at face value, it reduces social skill down to sycophantic behavior, which creates all sorts of issues when dealing with less charitable people. That book kind of misled me for a long time.

normally I'd be like "nah humans are better" but with how much AI has been weaponized against The People, it does kind of change the economics a lot. IMO it's ok to use automation as long as it's getting rid of the tedious stuff that's unrelated to the creative output itself.

Since we have a lot of data from bluesky's art theft labeler, and many LLMs have vision capabilities now, something that could be very interesting is tuning a model for plagiarism detection. The labeler is kind of dead, having a bot handle the egregious cases may help idk tho

That mindset has often gotten me in trouble for being selfless at my own expense, and enabling a lot of shit behavior in others. Also caused me to burnout and become cloistered from everyone, good or bad. So trying to practice better discernment from now on. Doing a bit better but its still scary.
