Just so, Alcaraz is finding his feet and range. Still room for improvement as far as hitting his spots on serve. Alcaraz is a delight to watch, with unteachable court instincts and an apparent love for the game that reminds me of Roger Federer.

If you read carefully I did not write him off, I'm a fan with no more info than published. Let's say his knee heals enough for a return to competitive tennis. Sinner generally strikes a very hard, flat ball -- leaving little room for error. I hope to see him back in top form as much as anyone.

Pure speculation but it's possible Sinner may never play again. Remember, from age 8 to 12 Sinner was a world-class alpine ski racer. That's a tremendous amount of stress for a child's growing bones, ligaments and cartilage. If it's not possible for his knees to heal 100 percent, he's done.
