Ayuh, wicked accurate #Maine
This might be the most Maine image ever created. 🌲🦞💀
You’ve got a guy wearing a hoodie, basketball shorts, and Bean boots holding a Dunkin’ iced coffee in 39° weather while insisting: “honestly this is shorts weather.”
There’s a rusty Silverado with three fishing rods sticking out the back parked crooked beside a Subaru covered in salt stains and “The Way Life Should Be” stickers, while a moose stands near the road staring at traffic like it personally approves local property taxes. 😭
Meanwhile: • a lobster boat trailer is somehow parked at the gas station 🦞
• somebody’s uncle is buying bait, beer, and windshield washer fluid in one transaction
• and a random seagull is actively trying to rob tourists for fries.
The pothole in the middle of the road is so deep locals have started using it as a landmark: “take a left at the giant crater after the Irving.”
Maine DOT has one lane closed for reasons understood only by: • three guys in neon jackets
• one pickup truck
• and a man holding a coffee watching absolutely nothing happen. 🚧💀
Meanwhile grandma is casually crossing through the chaos carrying: • a foil pan of baked beans
• two lobster rolls
• and enough passive-aggressive determination to survive any Nor’easter.
The weather itself looks emotionally unstable: ☀️ sunshine over the coast
🌧️ rain inland
❄️ snow somewhere near Rangeley
💨 wind trying to relocate porch furniture
and fog rolling in like Stephen King personally approved the atmosphere.
Add in: • a “Bridge May Ice Before You’re Emotionally Ready” sign
• a general store selling bait, pie, and ammunition in the same building 😭
• a lighthouse somewhere in the background
• and a gas receipt blowing through the parking lot like a legal threat.
And honestly?
This belongs in a museum right between an L.L. Bean boot, a lobster trap, and a handwritten sign that says: “AYUH.” 🌲🦞🚗

@npmx.dev loving the work done here, amazing what the open source community can build. Noticed a little bug though, at least on iOS 26.3 Safari — the search field from the homepage loses focus as soon as a search is triggered. cc @danielroe.dev

Leaving users in limbo to either keep using your defunct product or migrate to someone else's browser is a pretty surefire way to convince many of them to not try @diabrowser.com whenever it's finally available.

LOVE the embracing of @nuxt.com for this! Curious about the decision to use `usaAsyncData` composable and `refresh` to watch for preview token changes for some pages (github.com/craftcms/sta...) vs a custom `fetchData` function in others? (github.com/craftcms/sta...)

We already had been storing preparsed JSON in a custom content column to populate some key data from deep element relations when an entry is saved. Due to the size of the DB, typical `relatedTo` queries just couldn't handle it "on the fly". The new JSON column will hopefully expand on that concept.

Only about 8 months after release, this week I've finally been getting my first deep dive into a #CraftCMS 4 ➡️ 5 upgrade. Very big site with lots of customizations, many done to work around some incredibly complex element queries in v3 & 4. Content stored as JSON looks like a game changer.
