GitLab has been reposting these two jobs for at least six months. With all of the talent on the market right now, it's odd they still can't find anyone. I'd say they're ghost jobs and they've got a candidate going through LMIA in Canada or equivalent, but they don't offer visa sponsorship. Weird.

I'm doing a SC2: Wings of Liberty replay right now and man, I forgot how good that game is. Even the gimmick missions feel nice. Don't think I've ever found that kinda feeling since, not even with the other two SC2 games.

It's more about who it caters to. Objectification is a male gaze problem (and women/femmes who center themselves in the male gaze claiming some BS "empowerment" are part of the problem, but that's a different story). It's a shame non-sexual nudity is so repressed. That's the crux of the issue IMO.

I know someone like that. They dicked around until their mid-30s, then had a sobering moment and started teaching themselves gamedev as a way to cope with the fallout. They just got their first "real job" at 35. If their enabler hadn't kicked them out, though, they'd still be mooching...
