I reviewed Jill Lepore’s The Rise and Fall of the Artificial State ( @penguinrandomhouse.bsky.social @penguinbooksusa.bsky.social ) for today’s @telegraph.co.uk which, among other things, is an amusing takedown of certain AI lab leaders as “bad”/overly literal readers of sci-fi—I recommend it
