It only needs a tumble weed rolling by to represent responses in the dashboard from the journals I paid to submit to that accepted my same submission when I just emailed it to the journal for free.

I mean I didn't bankrupt a casino or anything, but the math here seems a little dodgy. Let's quickly consult the Google:
The total gross national debt of the United States has surpassed $40.1 trillion. [1] (https://www.jec.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/republicans/debt-dashboard)Current NumbersTotal Debt: Roughly $40.12 trillion.Per Citizen Share: About $117,500 to $119,300 for every person in the U.S.Debt-to-GDP Ratio: Around 122% to 125%, meaning the debt is larger than the total yearly economic output of the country. [1] (https://www.pgpf.org/national-debt-clock/), [2] (https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/datasets/debt-to-the-penny/), [3] (https://www.us-debt-clock.com/), [4] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CyFqNSAkp4)Breakdown of the DebtDebt Held by the Public: About $32.42 trillion (owed to individuals, corporations, the Federal Reserve, and foreign governments).Intragovernmental Debt: About $7.70 trillion (money the federal government owes to its own agencies, like Social Security trust funds). I have been doing the broadband deployment thing for a long time now, including a stint with the FCC's CEDC and another with the Center for Quantum Networks. It amazes me the agency can still get away with this kind of presentation of garbage data, a problem that continues under Carr.

"Changes from biennial to quadrennial the mandatory review by the FCC of its adopted rules concerning broadcast ownership and all of its ownership rules as part of its regulatory reform review. Makes such requirement inapplicable to any rules relating to the 39 percent national audience reach limit"

Just a reminder, the FCC, and by extension, Chairman Brendan Carr have literally no power to regulate political content on a cable network. Not some, in a limited circumstance when conditions align. None. None what-so-ever. Tell him to go pound sand.

I started playing Battletech with the same crew I still play today with about the time this box came out (way before 1995), and I still have two copies of Third Edition (and the plas-tech minis) on my game shelf. There's still quite a few of us around.

I am going to go on a limb here...and suggest that maybe hiring morons who were shitposters, podcasters or players on the performance theater that is Fox News is not such a great idea, and that hiring folks for...um I don't know...things like competence, could, and even would, be a better idea.

When I was working for Clear Channel, we actually had this consultant drafted memo pinned in the newsroom and main studio about programming strategies for cashing in on pro-war in Iraq coverage. To say there was only one point of view being aired...well that was just good business at the time.

My students in the Twin Cities are asking critical questions about "official" news coverage of recent events. I counter with how important the principles of journalism continue to be. Without the video from the scenes, "government versions" of the Pretti and Goode would have been accepted as fact.
