After Amazon gave $1M to Trump's inauguration, Trump installed Amazon's former lawyer to head the NLRB. Now the agency has ended a major case investigating Amazon's mistreatment of its contract drivers with a slap-on-the-wrist settlement. This is what a quid pro quo looks like.

What Trump Delivered for Amazon
The feds were pushing a landmark case about Amazon’s control of its contract drivers. Then the president put Amazon’s former lawyer in charge.

They're right. The Supreme Court is out of control. Congress is acquiescent. Billionaires rule. It's impossible to amend the Constitution. Neither party (to different degrees) is working to fix the problems that vex most Americans. Major reforms are needed, quickly, in a system set up to be slow.

Apparently no one in the Trump regime has heard of the Nuremberg trials. Or perhaps they just supported the Nazi side. Following illegal orders is the path to untold horrors.

So strange that academic freedom is only important to Republicans, or supposedly so, when it involves lefty professors in the Ivy League. But it's fine to be a right-wing blowhard at Texas A&M. Or a racist cop, apparently.

Climate change is an economic issue. It's changing where we can grow crops and which ones, causing floods of refugees to flee hot dry areas to come to more moderate regions, creating devastating floods and hurricanes, and making other massive changes to our planet, where we live and create things.

The plan is to get the word out & convince people in all states and political beliefs that standing up to tyranny is important. You can help. Learn about #NoKings and #Indivisible (and other similar groups). Tell your friends and folks on social media. Go to protests. Make phone calls. Just #DoIt.
