Scotland is now the only part of the UK that has not published a draft bill to end conversion practices.
Graphic map of the UK on a dark purple background showing Scotland colored in white and filled with pink question marks, while England, Wales, and Northern Ireland are colored solid pink. Text beside the map reads: "Scotland is the only part of the UK without draft legislation to end conversion practices." A photo showing five people standing in front of a projector screen saying "Holyrood 2026 LGBTQIA+ Hustings" and displays a large QR code under the word "Manifesto” Logos for the Equality Network, Scottish Trans, LGBT Health and Wellbeing, LEAP Sports, and LGBT Youth Scotland are at the bottom of the screen.

Conversion practices seek to change or suppress who we are and who we love on the basis that being LGBTQA+ is "wrong", and that it's better to be heterosexual and/or cisgender. They still happen in Scotland, and that has to change. Find out more: equality-network.org/cp
