We need a Democratic Party that will uplift and support working-class champions who can stand up against rising fascism without fearing that they'll lose dark money donors.

My neighbors want to hear about innovative ways to support mental health, address food access issues and push for better housing conditions. The Democratic Party should focus on these issues facing woking class people.

We need a Democratic Party that is transparent and truly represents working class communities in the Bronx and throughout New York. That starts with rejecting corporate or real estate donations.

State Committee members serve as liaisons between elected officials and represent Democratic voters at state conventions and annual meetings. I’m running for State Committee to advocate for more transparency in the Democratic Party and push our party to stand up against Trump.

More people should run for local office. Roles like State Committee and County Committee are opportunities to represent our neighbors and amplify important local issues.

The biggest cost for many New Yorkers after rent is childcare. By implementing free childcare for every New Yorker, we can ensure that we foster early childcare development, create a strong literacy foundation for young people and keep young families in New York City.

Governor Hochul should stand with working families and tax the rich to fund the services that every day New Yorkers depend on.

Columbia is the richest school in the richest city in the richest country in the world, but you pay more in taxes than it. Uptown needs a leader who will make corporations like Columbia pay their fair share, not a politician bought by them. Join our campaign: act.darializaforcongress.com

Federal judge has ordered the release of Liam Ramos (the bunny hat boy) and his father. A brief and rather remarkable order. Clearly written to be shared widely, so please do. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
Ultimately, Petitioners may, because of the arcane United States immigration system, return to
their home country, involuntarily or by self-deportation. But that result should occur through a more
orderly and humane policy than currently in place.
Philadelphia, September 17, 1787: "Well, Dr. Franklin, what do we have?" "A republic, if you
can keep it."
With a judicial finger in the constitutional dike,
It is so ORDERED.
SIGNED this 31st day of February, 2026.

I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work. I don’t let bullies win. Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong.

On the fourth anniversary of the Twin Parks apartment fire, thinking of those who lost loved ones in the terrible tragedy and about the work ahead to demand safer housing conditions and increased investments in housing for Bronx residents.

I am deeply disturbed by the news out of Minneapolis that a woman was murdered by ICE. My deepest condolences to the victim’s loved ones. In Minneapolis and across the country, people are less safe because of ICE. The entire organization should be dismantled and abolished.

My name is Christina Cover. I am strongly considering a run for New York State Assembly in District 84.
My name is Christina Cover. I am a 28-year-old UFT public school teacher in the Bronx. I serve on my local community board and am a proud member of NYC-DSA and NY Working Families Party. I am strongly considering a run for New York State Assembly in District 84.
I have taught and served at multiple schools in the Bronx. I have seen the extraordinary resolve and brilliance of Bronx students and educators. Simultaneously, I experience the persistent struggles we face. Many students are reading below grade level, but this issue is not in isolation. Defunded programs in our communities have exacerbated violence, important literacy laws are not moving fast enough, and affordability, as we saw in the recent mayoral election, is an urgent concern for Bronx residents and all New Yorkers. As an Assembly Member, I will demand investment in public safety and take a proactive approach, champion laws that raise the bar for literacy in Bronx schools, and join the relentless fight for affordability. I will do this as a democratic socialist who will not accept a cent of corporate or real estate PAC money.
