Interesting example of fasciation in this Cosmos flower (on the right). Fasciation is a condition that causes flower blooms to distort, fuse or elongate in parts. Can be caused by environmental factors, physical damage, infection or even DNA changes. 🤔 🌼 #gardening #fasciation

My last day working as an estate gardener at Overbury Court, where I’ve been for the past two and a half years. I’m moving on to gardens new - more about that soon, once I’ve got my feet in the greenhouse! It’s been fun and I’ve learnt an awful lot this past few years.
