Y'all life has been BUSY! Sorry I've been so MIA, I'm still working on finding a balance between LIFE & being at work for 11hrs a day. I was also PC less for 2 weeks...& now need a new motherboard (& basically whole tower) 😭🥲 Gonna start posting that dono link again 🫣

Long long day, on day 5 of a sinus migraine & still a bit sick...so I'm rewatching one of my comfort animes while eating spicy noodles because I *need* something to make my brain happy 👌🫶

also if you didn't know, if a streamer plays 3 mins or more of ads an hour their ad rev jumps from 30% to 55%. 3 mins of ads played per hour can also get rid of pre-rolls. you're getting free content, a couple minutes of ads per hour to help support the streamer is fine.

idk which twitch viewer needs to hear this but it doesn't matter how many ads you get on a stream, 10 ads or 4 ads, the MOST amount of time a streamer can play at one time is 3 minutes. the options we as streamers have are literally 30s, 1m, 1m30s, 2m, 2m30s, 3 min.

I actually had my first full day of dealing with customers (mostly on my own without someone next to me) & it just *had* to be on a day we were already down a worker (bc she had training)! To say I'm *dead* on my feet would be an understatement! But it went well! 🙏🙌

Got home from my first day at work & immediately pulled out the Gin because that was A LOT of information & people, but I did it!!! Also, pic of me on my lunch break at like 3pm because I got distracted & forgot to eat earlier than that 🙈

Working retail (or I guess any job outside of the house) is gonna require me to relearn some skills/habits I haven't used in 15 years... ...like going to bed before 5AM (currently just after 11) & being up at like 6AM because I need to be at work by 8! 😅

From SimsDirect on Discord Simmers, we’re wrapping up final testing on a retroactive fix for the missing railing issue. If everything checks out, it should ship in a small update on Feb 12, we’ll confirm once it’s locked in.
