9?! Just 9?! Fine, we'll start with KISS then see what's piled up in the bottom of the gas mask satchel I went everywhere with in the 80s & 90s. www.my9albums.com/s/AEUUyLoiPd

Right, well this laundry ain't gonna fold itself, believe me, I asked. Time to stick on a flick and tackle this pile of towels! #SleepawayCamp

Amazon Prime selection of "Sleepaway Camp", a horror movie from the early 80s, on a big telly.

Right, so I had my coffee, an energy drink, and popped some cold meds (I also can now taste the color chartreuse) so I think I'm finally in the right headspace to take on Rosie's latest...

Have moved on from coffee to an energy drink and propped my feet back up for Bloggo's latest. I remember really wanting a Game Gear or a TurboExpress. Not so much for the games but for the TV tuners so I could watch telly while waiting for the bus. It was the future!

Perfect example for hanging onto your physical media, kids: the Clerks soundtrack on Spotify doesn't include any of the audio clips from the film. Thankfully, I've got the CD here somewhere in the closet. #DantesLament

I know it's not strictly a movie novelization but I couldn't pass up the movie-cover edition. #LessThanZero We finished watching "The Shards" (based on another Ellis book) on Hulu and hopefully they'll get more seasons to finish out the story.

A quick browse through Zia Records before a Walmart run...

NWOBHM band Grim Reaper's "Rock You to Hell" flexi-disc.

"Gene, Ace, Peter & Paul" by Julian Gill, a book about the 4 KISS members' 1978 solo albums (of which I own 3 of the 4, still looking for Ace's with the poster.)

The bangles "Hazy Shade of Winter" 45rpm single from the "Less Than Zero" movie soundtrack. One of my favorite cover tunes, I think it's better than the original.

Comedian and metalhead Brian Posehn's band Posehn single "Grandpa Metal".

Sep 12th 1990 - April O'Neil reported on the increasing crimewave. That night, thieves tried to steal her purse, but were stopped by some unseen heroes who accidentally left a Sai behind. 📽️📅 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)

3 Screenshots from the movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (1990): First, a woman news anchor speaks on a small television set surrounded by newspapers, with the subtitle "...it's now apparent that an organized criminal element is at work." Second, a man in a trench coat holds and reads a New York Post newspaper with the bold headline "CITY CRIME ESCALATES." Third, a woman in a yellow raincoat lies on the ground clutching a weapon, while shadowy figures in the background wield sticks and flashlights in a dark alley.

I started a new book this morning. It's a young-reader "chapter book" that one of my customers, the author, gave me. He'd been writing it in the store over the past few months. A very cool gift and takes place in real West Seattle locations with a trail one could actually follow.
