If you see this, quote with a robot that isn’t from “Star Wars,” “Star Trek,” “Dr. Who,” or “Transformers.”

Sevenger victorious! Specifically the modern updated version as seen in Ultraman Z

First thing that came to mind watching the Liokaiser promo video. I thought it might be relevant.

A set of three screenshots from Star Trek TNG "Up The Long Ladder" (S02E18) during the scene where Data and Picard discuss the SS Mariposa, with new captions making fun of Haslab Hellbat being renamed Ellbat, by suggesting it is Spanish for The L-bat. Mariposa is the Spanish word for butterfly.

Wait is this seriously actually "she just got home from The Hunger Games"!? That was a joke I was making in my head when she popped up over that hill! It wasn't supposed to be real! Also maybe thread? This wasn't the plan, but we'll see how much I need to react to this as it goes.

I don't have cool lock screens anymore. But years ago I had this on my Huawei phone. My home screen background was same-style Mega Ampharos, and there was different transition effects you could pick for unlocking the phone. So for a while my lock screen basically was Ampharos mega-evolving.

They weren't kidding when they called it "Full Weapon Set". Basically every land, air, and space configuration option is in there from the look of this. Heck of a gift, that one!

Siege Spinister is a great toy. Bigger than average for its pricepoint when it came out, minimal Siege-scuffing, very poseable and expressive, and the original colors look great.

So does anybody have insight to what the hell is up with Spinister's new deco? Beyond the obvious "they swapped the colors of the arms and legs".

I'm glad I have some photos of Cyberverse Deluxe Prowl from before the nylon parts all discolored. Genuinely excellent mold and it's tragic the up-decoed Takara Earthspark release got cancelled. I'd have bought multiples. 😭

That's a little more rough than I think we usually want to run this. There is this, which while sold as Menasor was intended to be Motormaster. There might still be another way to solve this, I just have to keep thinking on it.

For what would have been my sentai picks, I literally cannot decide between Gekiranger and Go-onger for top spot. Also Megaranger ranks very high, as does Kiramager. I think the takeaway lesson from this exercise is that there's a lot of good sentai and it's hard to single one (or even several) out.

110 1

Chris @chrisrtxv.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

Man sentai alone is gonna be a challenge here to keep to just four, let alone leaving room for anything else. >panics and just leaves sentai out entirely Also gonna add an honorable mention for Keitai Sousakan 7 which is more drama-with-CG-effects than toku in the typical sense.
