Same. I learned volumes dissecting structure for my LOST and CASTLE specs. Mimicked voice for my BUFFY. Learned speed writing my WALKING DEAD. And put it all to the test on a show I wasn’t previously familiar with when writing my JUSTIFIED spec. Every single experience informative… and FUN!

What are you watching on Netflix tonight? How about the 5-episode GRAND FINALE of #CobraKai! Writing the middle one (613 "Skeletons") was a very special experience for me. For many reasons, all of them having to do with my love of the original #KarateKid ✨😌✨ #nospoilers #IYKYK

Go watch #ParadiseonHulu NOW. Without reading about it. Without watching the trailer. Trust me. Let the first ep surprise you like it did me. Best viewing experience I’ve had in ages.

If you went to college: 1. Career goal when you started? 2. Initial major? 3. If you changed majors, what did you change to? 4. What do you do now? 1. Comic Book Artist 2. Art 3. Film Studies 4. TV Writer It’s been a journey! In between 3 & 4, I had an entire career in graphic design.

Hiya! Since finishing 6 seasons of #Lucifer, I’ve been traveling the world, getting married, bringing my wife over from Brazil, developing TV shows & comic books, and, oh yeah, I wrote a few episodes of #CobraKai. My latest ep comes out this Friday!
