Farage the "would be PM" having had a massive publicity campaign telling us he could be PM following lots of polls (financed by whom?)saying he is popular. He is a fabricator of notions, illusions based on no factual information whatsoever. I think people are wising up, despite his propaganda spree.

More than 9,600 have already taken action and called on Ofcom to investigate Nigel Farage's GB News show. A party leader and sitting MP should not be allowed to host their own news show. Help us reach 10,000 signatures. ⬇️

That's because of the nasty stain the Tories left when they implemented a Brexit that no one had voted for because that wasn't what the Leave campaign had described. They planted distrust everywhere but openness and honesty on both sides should/could dispell that, surely?Political will could sort it

What kind of philanthropist is he, if he will sit and watch the disintegration of his country through ever increasing poverty and inequality rather than pay tax?

In 2021, income tax personal allowance was frozen at £12,570. If aligned with inflation, it would now be £16,070. A minimum wage earner in England will pay extra £980 in income tax & NIC in 2026-27. Govt can easily increase personal allowance by £3,000, worth £600 to basic rate taxpayer.

This is how the Chancellor can increase the personal allowance and lift millions out of hardship

The hit the poor and cut corporation tax (CT) brigade are out in force. UK headline CT rate is 25%. Companies pay about 10% less as govts give them numerous reliefs which reduces taxable profits. Companies also dodge tax by shifting profits to tax havens. obr.uk/box/corporat...

Sustained economic growth can’t be achieved without a major boost to the purchasing power of the bottom 50% of the UK population. The govt can do so immediately by increasing income tax-free personal allowance by £3,000. All it needs to do is to end subsidies to commercial banks.

But he has poisoned the right, Starmer aped him etc. He's exuding a nasty stain which seems to have completely engulfed the Tories without having any real power. The media is his power, his own TV channel, constant repeating of his message by all the media without questioning it etc.

Sometimes you have to think "what are the security services doing?" It was clear that all sorts was going on between the Brexiteers and Russia in the referendum as revealed by Carole Cadwalladr and nothing happened. The Russia report? Or are they working for the Russians too?

Farage just copies Trump & does his pay-masters bidding. So we can tell what they would be like. Plus they are also telling us, eg pushing pensioners and the disabled under the bus.

That info is never part of the news story though. There is no balance in the reporting about asylum seekers in small boats: the media just repeat whatever the right wing squawks. Sadly this leads no informed understanding of the reality of the situation.

He doesn't want gov employed security people following him around knowing what he's doing ,where he's going ,who he's talking to. That's the truth, scrutiny is the last thing he wants. He's a master of evasion.

Does want security people provided by UK parliament to see what he is doing every day &why. He doesn't like scrutiny. It shows he must be doing things &talking about things & meeting with people, he doesn't want seen or overheard.

😠From today's FT: quarter of the UK’s privatised water companies underspent their investment allowances between 2010 and 2025. THEY'RE SITTING ON YOUR MONEY, AND RIPPING YOU OFF. No delays, no half measures, no decade-long waits for things to change - we need water in public ownership now.
Headline from the Financial Times, above an aerial photo of a sewage treatment plant. "Quarter of UK water groups underspend investment allowances as network creaks."

So Lord Bamford helped to fund this but with a huge outstanding tax bill, the one that made him bow out from attending the house of Lords. Why has he not been held to account for this? Can we send the bailiffs round like they do for unpaid council tax?
