Exactly five years ago, we decided to bring home an energetic rescue dog after an already long July 4th weekend. Turns out that was a fantastic decision, as she has been a loyal companion and is now a steadfast protector of our new daughter. Happy "Gotcha Day," Tali'zorah! 🥳

Biggest Surprise: Train Dreams Best Score: Tron: Ares Odd Fact: Several films this year involved a single actor playing two characters. Sinners, Mickey 17, Superman, and Frankenstein all had this specific trope.

We saw a total of 66 movies in 2025, a personal best! Setting up our own personal theater in the basement of our new house sure helped. Here are my top five of the year: 5. Wicked: For Good 4. One Battle After Another 3. Wake Up Dead Man 2. Superman 1. Sinners

I work at a college and we have a snow day today. No one is more excited than Tali.

A German Shepard / Malamute mix dog stands, looking at the camera above her. Snow almost completely covers her nose.

Listen, I'm loving the fan reactions to #Andor and the renewed push to #MakeBattlefront3. But while we're waiting for that to happen, check out the slept-on #StarWarsOutlaws. It's such a good time!

#Andor is a generational gift of a show, prestige television for #StarWars fans. What a run.

I can't believe I get #Andor S2 and #OblivionRemastered on the same day. What a glorious day to be alive! I feel like I'm 16 again.

I know I'm behind, but I just finished #ACMirage! It was a great story that was told at a decent pace, and it was refreshing to not have a bloated, overinflated open-world game for a change.

This is my first #CriticalRole campaign and it's bittersweet to see it end! I'm not sure I'm emotionally prepared for the finale, which is longer than I spend working each day.

I haven't posted anything in a while. Here's some pictures of Tali enjoying the winter weather!

Lately I've been sketching out what I think the thumbnails should look like for our videos before we take the photos. For example, here's my sketches and the final product for our latest #MovingOut2 gameplays! 😆

Two crudely drawn stick figures struggle to carry an even more poorly drawn box.

Two crudely drawn stick figures stand next to each other, one holding up a finger as they are on their phone and the other in dismay, struggling to carry a box on their own.

Catching up on #SkeletonCrew and man... I was worried that Neel would end up being just a sidekick, but he's just as fully developed as the rest of the kids. This show is pretty fun so far! #NeelNation

#TheGameAwards took several big steps in the right direction this year. It's great that no one got played off and the Game Changer award was fantastic! Still wish we had more time with awards instead of rushing through them. Congrats to #AstroBot on the huge win!

Tali might be the only one enjoying this snow squall. Unfortunately, she is cursed with human parents who don't like to play in the snow all day with her.

I'm not sure I agree with Geoff that #TheGameAwards should partially be about announcements. I feel this takes away from celebrating the accomplishments of the past year and the hard work the developers have put in. No one is premiering trailers at the #Oscars.
