Found this DeKay's brownsnake out on the trail today!! DeKay's brownsnakes are harmless and like to eat lugs, snails, earthworms, and soft-bodied insects. They have specialized jaw teeth that allow them to pull snails right out of their shells.

Going through some videos that Ive taken but never got around to editing or sharing. This is from Aug 2025's sunrise waterspout outbreak on Lake Ontario, near Presqu'ile Provincial Park in Brighton. This area seems to be a waterspout hot spot.
