V. Vulpes, Oil on canvas, 12x16. I really enjoy painting these sneaky little critters. They are some of the most interesting animals to watch as they navigate the forest. Always entertaining. #oilpainting #art #wildlifeart #redfox #animalart

Landscape painting in oils. A cloudless light blue sky and hills in the background, a straw field with four trees and a dilapidated old shed in the foreground.

Little Red, oil on canvas 8”x10”. Experimenting with thicker paint, palette knives, and brushes. This little alla prima piece was challenging and I may go back to make some adjustments, but I’m pleased enough with the results. #oilpainting #art #wildlifeart #animalart #foxes #redfox

While I enjoy digital art, the results just never feel as satisfying as traditional mediums. But, it’s a great tool to put together compositions from photographs or sketches. These are two of my sketches mocked up to be used as reference for a painting. #art #wildlifeart #horses #animalart
