A good week of canvassing as Spring begins 🌸 From Waddon to West Thornton, housing, fly-tipping and crime remain residents’ main concerns 🏡 @rowennadavis.bsky.social @ellilyp.bsky.social @catherinewilson14.bsky.social @maddiehenson.bsky.social

Croydon Labour Group’s motion on Violence Against Women & Girls passed successfully at Full Council last week with cross-party agreement. These tangible steps will strengthen the council’s VAWG delivery plan 2024-2027 and make a real difference in safeguarding victims.👇🏼

Croydon council commits to providing numerical targets, including halving violence against women and girls in a decade. The council commits to distributing paper copies of VAWG services in the community and recruiting and training 100 domestic abuse champions.

Absolutely fantastic Monday evening at Labour YIMBY Christmas Party! 🎄 Great turnout, good food, unlimited drinks and lots of conversations about tackling the housing crisis. 🏠 Looking forward to seeing what Labour YIMBY have planned for next year! 💫

Despite the rain, a brilliant morning out in West Thornton listening to our residents and talking about what matters to them most. ✔️ Thanks to all who joined us today. 🌹 @cllr-stuart-king.bsky.social @janetcllr.bsky.social @cllreuniceodame.bsky.social @catriona-ogilvy.bsky.social
