Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 17/01/2025Feeling this quote pretty hard today. Incredible amounts of preparation, and a big thing still didn't go right. Not to say that that there were not things to learn from it, because there most definitely were. Gonna take a knee on today, but right back up tomorrow to get back after it. 062
Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 09/01/2025This moody little film is easily Top 3 of 2024 for me. It's got a little more polish than the director's previous feature, Caveat, but still oozing with dread. #IHFCFeed 030

Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 18/05/2023The last piece of my Hellfire Club starter kit arrived, @jaketapper.bsky.social (For those unfamiliar, the paperbacks in this picture are ARCs, Advanced Review Copies. I have a small collection of ARCs from authors I enjoy and couldn't resist grabbing these when I saw they were available.) 020

Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 14/05/2023I would kill for an ALF doll right now, but Tyrion will have to do. Testing real-time virtual production with green cardboard and action figures! 020
Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 14/05/2023Had some things to do today, so I wasn't on Bluesky much. Apparently Animorphs took over while I was gone? Have we seen any ALF-Animorphs crossovers yet? 020
Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 12/05/2023For the record, Bluesky has ruined all sense of decorum I may have once had. Alternate hand stroke option: 110
Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 11/05/2023Hell yeah! Filmmaker, author, Mohawk/sentient beard aficionado, decent human being, and all around weirdo @michaeljepstein.bsky.social has entered that chat.Everybody give Michael a follow and check out his filmography on Letterboxd or IMDB. 120
Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 10/05/2023While there is absolutely no way I can keep up with the professional shitposters, I've definitely found a niche as a strategic tactical commenter. 000
Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 08/05/2023I can see the What's Hot tone has moved to more serious discussions this morning. I can work with this. 010

Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 06/05/2023Going to post a little about some of the films I've directed or produced. This one is a favorite. Haven's End (2020) Featuring Catherine Taber (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and Hannah Fireman (V/H/S), the film is an exercise in genre-mixing with the paranoia overtones of Carpenter's The Thing. 110
Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 05/05/2023Something something nice Chianti and some fava beans 000
Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 05/05/2023Totally forgot I have this, I have failed the skeet gods. 000
Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 03/05/2023We're doing pictures of bugles today? Nice! This one is one of my favorites, a Contra Bass Bugle. It has a deeper, lower-pitched sound then your traditional bugle. What's that? Bagels...? 000

Chris Ethridge @chrisethridge.com · 01/05/2023Alright, let's get the Filmsky conversation going. Filmmakers out there, what are you working on? My most recent film, currently playing festivals, is "Moonlight Sonata, with Scissors." The scissors are not benign. 110
