I feel like I owe people a follow up… I did successfully make it home on Tuesday… Of course, it helped that every flight was delayed, including that first flight by at least an hour due to problems across the eastern seaboard… I did have to race to pick up my dog before his boarding place closed…

This puppy is having surgery tomorrow to remove a cyst on top of his head… The vet does not think it’s cancer… Which is a relief… But having to sign the anesthesia consent form and decide whether or not the dog needs CPR the night before is not helping my anxiety

Last night, I did the grown-up responsible thing and went to bed at a reasonable hour and could not sleep at all… So tonight I did the irresponsible thing… I fell asleep on the couch for about three hours… I’m gonna stay up late until I get tired again… And then we’ll try sleeping in a bed again…
