Dunno if you would get an honest answer. Looking at the emulator (ps5) and revivial projects (assassins creed, dreadnought etc) scenes respectively, AI has been a lot of help. The new GTA might be running on your PC faster than expected.

I'd agree if the decision making were left to ai but it is still me who is testing and developing my games almost every day. There is no agent making them. What appears beneficial might be added or removed if it does not add to the game. In a sense it has replaced stackoverflow, which is sad.

There are usually 2 reasons why a chatbot gets a question: 1) An issue is debated in my mind like Nunu and their snowball and I need a conclusive answer/nudge. 2) Doing marketing/market research. Chatbots evolved to google search 2.0 and it is much faster to get results to specific questions.

Using it too for very specific issues. Since I am a solo dev I got no one to bounce ideas and designs off. Although the idea of prompting AI to implement the game sounds tempting, the process of actually making it is much more wholesome. But I am not in it for the money. It is my passion.

I don't even play 9 games in a year. Think the kingdom rush series is self-publishing. So that's a start. Not sure about the neat and unique aspect, I am not looking for usp in games, only fun.

just jumped into Hades. yeah, I know, late to the party. like it - in the sense of I want to play it again, but it got a huge problem imo in that deflect + dash of more than 1 (or whatever it's called) makes the game trivial. deflect should be baseline and balanced carefully.

oh, I know that feeling. I created 4 teams in xbots for ctf4 mod and ran a map countless times in which the center was walled off but transparent. watched for hours and rebalanced teams in size and skill to make it work.

musicbee is fun. no need for another description and your old music library sounds like your personal radio station. a while ago I stopped expanding my music library, but think I will go back to buying a couple of albums a month. I don't go to concerts that much. Gotta support artists somehow.

think watching workers in an rts is somewhat soothing. need to reintroduce baloons at some point, but the last implementation added too much noise to the game. at least to me watching villagers work in aoe2 is a nice variation to watching army vs army scenes.

the one and ONLY(!!) reason I prefer games over meeting people is the cost of games is much lower than an evening of alcoholic drinks. I am DEAD SERIOUS. cost of living this!
